More than 145 full-colour maps direct the user to 2,000 gas facilities and provide comprehensive information on company names, addresses, phone and fax numbers, contact names, and operating capacities for each plant. The Gas Plant Atlas includes compressor stations and also displays information on: Gas Facilities, Refineries, Major Pipelines, Plant Information, Mills and Mines, Weigh Scale Location, Well Disposal Sites, Plus more than 3000 major oil battery LSD listings with operating company names.

Alberta NGL / LPG Map

LPG/NGL Map of Alberta: A map of Alberta displaying the Gas Processing Plants, Pipelines, Pump Stations and Rail / Truck Terminals throughout Alberta and Northeastern B.C. The gas plants are shown in table format identifying the plant name, operator and legal land descriptions sorted in ascending order according to their ERCB plant code. Also included is a detailed Schematic of the Edmonton and Area Pipeline System including fractionation facilities, storage facilities and Edmonton Refineries.

DLS - Dominion Land Survey

• ie: Section 31 - Township 4 - Range 12 West of the 4th Meridian (SEC 31 - T4R12W4)
• Comprised of Townships, Sections, Quarter Lines, LSD's (Legal Sub-Divisions), and Road Allowances
• Used in BC (PRB - Peace River Block), Alberta (ATS - Alberta Township Survey), Saskatchewan (STS - Saskatchewan Township Survey) and Manitoba (MTS - Manitoba Township Survey)
• There are different grid versions for each province
• Alberta Grid versions include ATS 1.0, 2.2, 2.6, 3.1, 3.2 and 4.1 . Industry predominantly uses ATS 2.6, but is migrating quickly to ATS 4.1
• Saskatchewan grid versions include STS 1.0 and 2.5. Industry accepts 2.5 as the standard
• Manitoba uses a theoretical gird - MTS 1.0

NTS - National Topographic System

• Used throughout Canada as a quick grid reference system
• The primary grid for BC
• Used to locate topographic basemaps (Canadian Topographical Maps)

FPS - Federal Permit System

• ie: 49D40M_47D15M - where D = Degrees and M = Minutes
• CUsed North of 60 degrees latitude (NWT, Yukon and Nunavut), Hudson Bay, East and West Coasts (offshore only)
• Comprised of Grids and Sections
• Grids are 10 minutes Latitude by 15 minutes Longitude in size
• Latitude followed by a Longitude referenced to the North East Corner of the grid
• Broken into 70, 80 or 100 sections per grid, depending on Latitude
