Antique map of the Port of Callao, Peru South America - circa 1753. The cartouche reads The Port of Callao in the South Sea, with the Adjacent Islands, Rocks and Coasts to Windward and Leeward and the Soundings in Fathoms. Drawn by the order of His Catholic Majesty. There are several soundings on the map. Shows the Islands of St. Lorenzo, St. Peter, The Widow, La Guaca and many more. Other features include the river of Lima, an ancient road and local topography which appears to show crops and mounts. Places include Old Mens Port, de los Chorillos, Magdalena, Town of Port of Ancon

Measures 14.5 Inches wide x 9.75 Inches tall. This map is difficult to find and is in VG condition with original fold marks.
