The Trails Illustrated map of the Old Faithful area in Yellowstone National Park is designed to provide visitors with exceptional detail of the upper and midway geyser regions. Created in collaboration with local land management agencies, this map highlights key points of interest, including the Old Faithful geyser area, Midway Geyser Basin, and Fountain Paint Pots. It also features a list of recommended day hikes with distances and difficulty levels, and the Continental Divide Trail runs through this section.
The map includes miles of well-marked trails, along with Bear Management Zones to help guide you through the park's less-traveled areas. Clearly labeled trails display mileage between intersections, while contour lines and elevations are included for summits, passes, and lakes. Recreation features such as visitor centers, campgrounds, trailheads, hydrothermal features, and interpretive trails are also noted.
Printed on durable, waterproof, and tear-resistant paper, the map is designed to withstand backcountry use. It also includes a full UTM grid for easy GPS navigation.
