Russia West & St. Petersburg Travel Map. This title combines the western, or European, portions of Russia to its most westernized city, the beautiful St. Petersburg. As such, it is two separate maps, with a completely updated western Russia on one side and the city of St. Petersburg on the reverse side. The regional map stretches from the Arctic to the Caspian Sea and from the Belarus border to the technical beginning of Siberia, at Yekaterinburg, where the two branches of the Trans-Siberian rail lines intersect. The side with the regional map also has an inset map of Moscow, although we recommend that visitors should consider using our double-sided map of that great metropolitan area when visiting. This is the heartland of Mother Russia and shows all the famous ‘Golden Ring’ cities, as well as major urban areas such as Rostov and Volgograd. The St. Petersburg map side shows the central portion of the city, with the River Neva flowing through it. The island nature of the city becomes apparent at first glance, the city is actually a series of islands interconnected by bridges. Of course, all the well-known tourist sites are shown as well as a representative showing of hotels and restaurants. Legend includes: .
