Until only a few short years ago it was not possible to drive to the smallest province in Canada. P.E.I. has an area of only 3,400 sq. miles (5,600 sq. km's), and a population of 134,000. The capital is Charlottetown and has 57,000 residents. P.E.I. is now attached to the rest of Canada by one of the longest bridges in the world, an engineering wonder to complete.
